Pennsy Express

Join us on December 12th, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at Depot Street Park for a festive evening aboard the Pennsy Express! Enjoy wagon rides running every 20 minutes, and warm up with free hot chocolate, popcorn, cookie decorating, and fun giveaways throughout the night. Families are invited to stop by Santa’s house to write a letter and drop it into the special mailbox just for him. Santa himself will also be visiting on the Depot Street Park stage, ready to greet guests and spread holiday cheer. Bring your loved ones and celebrate the magic of the season with us! Pre-registration is recommended to guarantee wagon rides. Registration opens December 1st.

From scavenger hunts to interactive learning sessions, Thornwood is the perfect backdrop for family bonding in the great outdoors.
