That’s our brick!
Buy a brick to celebrate family, friends, and organizations! These bricks will be placed in two different gathering spaces at the Shelter House. One is near the front door of the Shelter House and the other is near the art panel on the side of the newly constructed Riley Park Shelter House. Both spaces are great for reflection.
Our Story
On December 28th 2022, the historical Riley Park Shelter House caught fire. The building was constructed by Works Progress Administration in 1937 which created work during the Great Depression. The building, deemed a complete loss, was demolished in spring 2023. The Shelter House was a rental facility hosted Parks programing, family reunions, weddings, baby showers, and countless other events.

By the purchase of an engraved brick, you will not only be recognizing a person or place, you will be supporting the creation and installation of an art piece on the east side of the Shelter House an example is pictured above. Community voting for the actual design is ongoing and will be announced soon
